Let's say I have to blackberries: A bold for work and a torch for outside of work. Instead of having two pins, can two devices share the same pin so my bbm contacts don't need to have two contacts of me (my bold bbm and my torch bbm)? And is there any way when I update the contacts on one phone for it to be simutaneously updated on the other?

No. PIN's are device specfic. You could use Google Sync (the app or create a one gmail account and have it on each phone).

PINS are specific, only way to have two devices even remotely resemble each other is when you bridge the playbook to a blackberry. Even then it's just accessing the bb for various information.

Would be kind of neat if you could "forward" one pin to another, if that makes any sense at all...

Blackberry ID can be used on both devices, that way, multiple apps can also be used on the same two devices. Not sure about purchased ones that require codes.

That would be nice, but no, not possible.

BBM still uses the pin as part of the algorithm encryption process.
