    I wonder if blackberry can add more choice then it would be great.
    Such as pin, pattern, or gesture maybe?

    We all agree on this. I have my password set to 30 min because it's such a pain in the *** to use it now

    Password is easily the most secure option. Could they? I'm sure they could. But they would have to develop IT policies to disable this as the same time.

    Same here. Typing accurately on a virtual full qwerty keyboard is a little time consuming. I can't remember how many times when I want to type it quickly, I ended up typing in the wrong key. And I know others who do the same too.

    No doubt an alphanumeric password can be more secure, but it doesn't work well on a virtual keyboard. A 4 digit number pin like iOS is too simple, no matter what there are only 10,000 possibilities.

    pattern lock could be a good option with almost endless possibilities.

    four to nine dots, arranged in a 3 by 3 square. This results in a possible 3,024 to 362,880 different combinations.

    Passwords are significantly more secure, or can be.

    9 digit password, complex with upper, lower, numbers, symbols has 150 quadrillion combinations.


    Also, I use a 15 digit complex password on my z10 without any issue. Perhaps choose characters that are farther apart?
