Looking for a solution on this problem.

Recently my wife added a load of repeat events in the Calendar Function with a Alarm Reminder.

Some of the the alarms are not working - therefore there is no sound and no reminder appearing on the screen.

We have done battery pulls. Reloaded the alarms as new alarms, tried test alarms etc and yet nothing.

I have triple checked the setting and as far as i know it should work.

Has anyone got any ideas on this please?

I wonder, do tasks give notifications on the device? Also, I wonder if there are TOO many items in the calendar, thus causing a conflict...

Also, did it EVER work? Lastly, I wonder if removing the CICAL service book would help. I believe removing it, and then forcing the sync again, MAY help...

...if not, might have to call Tech Support.

My tasks send notifications to the BB if I don't tell Outlook NOT to do it......

Ok this has been resolved. If you are on BIS 2.3 then the Curve alrms will not work. You will need to delete the CICAL service books for each account. Then reboot!

    Ta kasperapd for the tip.
