Does anyone know how to bypass a proxy server with desktop manager?
The initial sync between the blackberry device and desktop manager (version 4.6) apparently needs a connection to the internet. My internet connection is done via proxy server, and this does not seem to be accepted in the desktop manager software. Is there anyway to fix or work around this problem so that I can sync my contacts and calendar with outlook?
Is the internet connection really necessary for the initial sync setup? Could someone please explain why. I use to use Windows Mobile, and this didn't require internet connection.
