I am not, and never will be, a fan of an all touch device, but I desperately want BB10.

I was thinking of buying Z10, wait till Q10 is here, sell that, and buy Q10.

Or is that a little too insane?

Thats funny, Ive been watching more videos on the z10 since feeling underwhelmed yesterday and know really want one.

BB10 seems perfect for an all touch device but every time I touch my 9000 I cant imagine ditching the keyboard (not really for writing messages but for all the shortcuts it offers)..

So yes I might do the same

I don't find that crazy at all! I plan on doing something similar! Good for you and the second buyer. As long as you can afford the loss.

Was considering doing this, but the problem is if the prices tank, as they might, by the time the Q comes out you could lose a couple of hundred quid. Thats a lot.

Exactly, the videos made me think of that... It seems like the virtual keyboard does deliver quite good results, but of course you have to train it so that might take a bit of time...

I am under contract with my Bold 9900 for another year, so i will hold onto it until then, but I would like to see a Torch like slider BB10 device. Or perhaps do something completely different, design a BB10 device more similar to a Droid 1,2,3, or 4 in having a horizontal slider keyboard...

The predictive text on the PlayBook works very well. The rest of the "training" shouldn't take too long.

Well you just have to go in knowing you could very well loose a couple hundred dollars. And hey you may end up sticking with the all touch you never know.
