    Hi all,
I am sure this question has been asked many times.... I recently got my blackberry curve 8520. I pay a montly charge for unlimited on device browsing in South Africa. Is there anyway i can use my laptop for browsing without incuring further costs.

    Thanks in advance
    AK

Unless your carrier provides free tethering, I don't know a completely free solution. TetherBerry works well for a one-time $50US charge. But be aware, if you use it too heavily, you may incur excess data charges from your carrier. "Unlimited" often means 5GB, not truly unlimited data. That will depend on your carrier, of course.

Nothing in life is free. It's being paid somewhere.

You can try tetherberry and monitor your usage. Excess usage can lead to a red flag to your carrier. Not sure how yours works abroad though.
