I have a BB 8130 Pearl with Altell as my carrier. When I open my browser I can visit one website, when I try to go forward to another page, it brings up the message "a problem occurred while trying to render this page." What the heck does that mean and what can I do to get my browser back in full swing??

You may have a corrupted page stored in the browser cache. Browser / Options / Cache Operations and clear the Content Cache if it is not zero. Also, if your Browser is not set to emulate BlackBerry, try changing to that. You may be fooling a page into sending you BlackBerry-incompatible code.
