I have a Sprint Tour 9630 that's bn unlocked.and I can now txt and make calls using the Tmo sim card. But my internet doesn't work. Says no browser configuration has bn set. And something about service books. How do I fix this? If service books need to be resent how do I do that?

    1) Service books - click the Personal Email icon, log into your account and send
    service books from there

    2) Register the device - Options > advanced options > host routing tables > press
    menu and select Register now.

do you have a blackberry data plan? the telltale sign (other than your bill) is your signal (1xev) being in capitals - 1X or 1XEV, if you do have a plan but arent getting this, select your `manage connections` icon and go to `mobile network options` then ensure data services are set to `on`, set the roaming (useage abroad) at your preferance.

    see if that helps

I am going to fess up straight away that I have never seen a Tour but try going
to Options > Mobile Network and the scroll down to Network Mode. Maybe (and that
is a BIG maybe) there is something there that need to be changed.

Also, and I hope a TMobile user steps in, isn't EDGE pretty much the upper limit
    in most locations currently?

I think AG's network mode is the solution.

EDGE is going to be the limit on cherryjuice's device since she's using it as GSM.
Tour is equipped for 3G (Ev-Do) and not for any of the GSM 3G bands.

I'm either going to have to downgrade the software (which is impossible with no computer access) or sell or trade it.. Too bad too- Sprint Unlocked and MINT condition!!
