Hi, ugh; broke my LCD on my screen half of my screen is white with some black in it, and it's really starting to **** me off , do you think there is anyway I can fix it on my own?
I broke the LCD by walking and swinging my arms around (with my phone in my hand) and it flew out of my hand from a 2ft drop it slid against my wooden porch and cracked the LCD.
So I really need suggestions on how to fix this because it's starting to make me very angry.
you can search on the internet for websites selling the LCD, they are usually between $70-$100. then you can use youtube to search for the 9780 disassembly videos. you will need a T5 or T6 screwdriver and a plastic case separating tool.
there are a bunch of threads around here regarding disassembly. its not too hard at all.
Try to find a replacement screen to buy online for your Blackberry Bold 9780.
Then watch a video tutorial that will teach you how to replace it (watch a few of those). Good luck with that.
