I remember when Chris pirillo was a rabid anti-Apple kid on tech TV and on LockerGnome. Hated Apple with a passion. How times change. I suppose what that means is if somebody like him can switch to the Apple camp it's quite possible he can switch to the BlackBerry camp.

Let's not judge, shall we..? Chris Pirillo is a tech blogger that's been in the industry for a LONG time and he has a very loyal following. Just because not everyone knows who he is doesn't mean we should bash him - I understand that his voice may sound annoying (I've heard the same from others as well), but trust me, he's a pretty high-profile tech blogger.. Similar to how BlackBerry has a very loyal following and how we have to explain to a lot of people who don't understand that BlackBerry is a good smartphone OS - for what they need it for

Except that BB is an OS and this person is a broadcaster with a really annoying public persona based on really bad conversational type attempts at comedy.

One is tech, the other is a public personality. Can't compare the two.

I felt the same way about Fran Drescher in the 80s...sometimes personas are a hit, sometimes they are not. For me, this person is truly annoying.
