Breaking BlackBerry: Your transition plan in 10 easy steps

Analysts recently suggested companies should switch from BlackBerry in the next 6 months! Are you ready? The answer for many organizations is, no. Mobility has become a norm for business, with BlackBerry blazing the trail in the early years. Now that the time has come to move on, many organizations are left with the question of, ""how?""

The move from BlackBerry should be a methodical approach that turns off the BES lights in a phased and methodical manner as you integrate iOS and Android into your mobility strategy.

Here are 10 Easy Steps to Assist in Your Migration. Plus, you will receive bonus BYOD templates to help shape your mobility program.

    A link would be nice...

I doubt that moving from BES can help with TCO and security.....

this isn't the right place either to talk about moving away from BlackBerry....

If you are a sales professional, I would go back to the drawing board....

Funny how the first sentence reads like a typical weight loss click-bait spam link. That's how you know these companies no longer have a valid argument for a switch.

This is marketing from Maas360 and IBM. Since I am an IT manager, they actually called me in person to give the "talk". The guy from IBM said that many companies are having a problem moving to BB10 and BES10. I asked them what problems. He said problems. I asked again what problems. He said look, companies are having problems moving to BES10. I asked a third time, what are the problems that companies are having. He said just problems. I said that I moved to BB10 and BES10 and had it running in a couple of hours. He didn't say a thing and hung up.

Next call I won a free cruise.. LOL

Their effort is to say that old BES5 doesn't support BYOD and it is too difficult to move to BES10. Since I already had BES10, I caught them in their marketing lies.

This isn't a new starter. Maas360 is owned by IBM. IBM must be desperate.
