    Default boost sim card for 8830

    can i use the boost sim card in my 8830 curve?

    Not a chance, sorry. First, Boost is iDen if I'm not mistaken (same radio as Nextel), and the 8830 is gsm, also the gsm frequencies on the 8830 are not compatible with U.S. gsm frequencies. Also your pfofile shows a 8330 curve, the curve doesn't even have a slot for a SIM card, so I am assuming you are talking about the 8830 WE. You will need to find a Nextel 8350i, or earlier model to use with Boost SIM. Hope this helps.

    ok first off anything ending in xx30 is cdma radios not gsm so a 8330 is cdma only

    and 8830 is worldwide so it has a sim slot. but if your looking for a curve on gsm you need 8300,8310, 8320, or 8900
