2010 BMW 5 series and verizon 8830we. Paired perfectly when I picked up car from dealer and all features worked for 2 weeks. Now I can't dial from the address book using the BMW "I drive". Also cannot select dial from BMW I drive menu even if inputting digits from BMW screen. Also will not accept verbal dial commands on BMW but voice dialing works on phone even while connected to bluetooth in car. BMW and Verizon blame each other. Blackberry knows nothing. I have tried disabling encryption and lots of other setting combos. Nothing seems to get all car bluetooth features working. Help anyone??
I am answering my own post. I deleted the 8830 from the device list in the car and then reinstalled it using 4567 as the 4 digit code on both the car and 8830. Now all functions of the car's bluetooth are working again.
