Has anyone here been able to get their bluetooth connection between their Blackberry and their MacBook Pro to work? I've done the pairing from both sides, and the devices show up as paired. However, the MacBook will not actually connect?

I've scoured Google and this forum and haven't been able to find an answer.

    Any help much appreciated, thanks.

Yes. But I have a 3 year old macbook running Snow Leopard.

File transfers work fine. Tethering does not.

Your Mac Book will not show connected until you are actually sending a file between the two, it will show paired but not connected. If you are wanting to send an MP3 file for example, open Media manager on your Blackberry, then select Music. You then hit the Menu button and select "Receive using bluetooth". Then on your Mac Book click on the Bluetooth Icon and select "Send File" Choose the MP3 you want to send and hit "Send". Then on your Blackberry hit Save when prompted. I am not sure right now if it is exactly the same with Leopard 10.5, I am using 10.6 Snow Leopard. Found this tutorial for 10.5 Leopard.

Thanks guys. I recently switched from Windows and I was previously able to have my calls routed to the PC speakers/microphone.

I was hoping to do the same thing with the Mac.
