I have a motorola h something (not sure the number) and it works just fine. Hands free is a defined Bluetooth profile so any bluetooth headset will work. As for the quality, sorry I can't help you other than to say my h10 (I think that's the number) works great.

Hello everyone! Does anyone know if the motorola h17 is compatible with the Bold 9700? Also, is it a good headset or just mediocre?
It is compatible and a fairly good headset but if you are partial to Motoorla I would get a H715 or if you can afford it a Jawbone Icon - a super bluetooth headset.
