Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR <-> Bluetooth 4.0 LE transcoder
Does such a device exist? Or would it have to be a homebrew raspberry pi type project?
I.e. a little standalone dongle that would allow my BB 9900 / Playbook to talk to the new range of Bluetooth 4.0 LE devices. - 08-10-2012, 12:20 PM #2
My understanding is that the chipset in the PlayBook is capable of Bluetooth 4.0 however software support is still 2.1 + EDR.

Ok, I can't wait for BB10! Guess I'll just have to eventually take my PlayBook to the gym.
Great post didn't know it had those extra features in there!Last edited by lewis71980; 08-10-2012 at 03:17 PM. Reason: pb to PB
