That's probably part of the reason. The device works best with T-Mobile. Not having LTE would have kept me from buying it. Luckily I have T-Mobile and I'm loving the device. Just got the wife migrated from her Z10 to her new Z30 last night. So two new Z30 devices in our house in two weeks. So much better than Z10 or Q10. Fast and smooth operation. Z10 was getting laggy, especially with Android app support.

This is good. If they end up selling like 1 million passports, along with all their inventory on older devices, they'll hit the 10 million mark for the year. Chen knew if he threw everything on sale for the holidays people were going to eat that stuff up man. After they sell all the inventory they shouldn't stock anything but the Z30 and passport... oh the classic as well. looking good, looking good!

I ordered two Z30's a week ago. No shipping notice or anything yet. Kinda disappointed that they leave people hanging for a week like this. A week is plenty of time to get the devices out.

They are terrible. You actually have to keep them on their toes with emails. I was waiting for several days for RMA instructions for my unwanted Passport. They stated 7-10 days for a refund upon receipt of the device. They received mine 10/20 and only when I emailed them on 10/29 did they respond saying "yes we see we received the device on 10/20. Please expect your refund in 5-7 days." Delays delays delays. If they had credited the $600 back to my credit card by now I'd be ordering a brand new Q10!

Brad...first world problems buddy.

They need to let them run out before restocking. I really don't want to see a pile up of stock. In the end the passport will be on fire sale next holiday season for around 400 bucks. Why doesn't BlackBerry ever release the black and white at the same time? Maybe I want the white one for the same price as the black one.

Those stock levels are as lean as they can be. So nothing to be afraid of. If product keeps running out of stock frequently it doesn't reflect well.

And another shocking thing I realised, those sales are for both shopbb Canada and US put together. These sales are pretty low even with generous discounts. Only way to rectify this is to offer it on contract as soon as possible.
