    I'd say I'm glad I don't live in such a place, but the UK is getting just as bad. (Slowly but surely taking away our freedoms in the name of 'freedom'.)

    There are many nations that place the right of the state ahead of individual rights.

    In India, for example, the right to monitor all private conversation is part of the constitution. When the bully tactics failed to pry loose the AES Key, they "claimed" to have cracked the security independently.... yea, right.

    BlackBerry Messenger, for many in the World, is the only secure and private means of electronic communications.
