BlackBerry Z30 is better than my iPhone
- Yes, I pretty much understand the concept that an app needs access to print those specific items. What I do not understand is why I, as the purchaser, cannot deny access to those items that I do not wish to "print" from. I know it's considered a silly trait these days, but I actually do take my privacy seriously.
Reason being:
So you can print out all this stuff. Can't do without access...

"WatsApp with the Chendroid?" - "Goog question, lol..." 07-15-15 01:02 PMLike 0 - I was given an Iphone 5c and have used it for some days and I can say that apart from the camera and the unlimited apps that you can use my BlackBerry Z30 is a beast.
Disadvantages:
1.Iphone does not show when a text is delivered.
2. You cant download music directly from any website unless you have to use a 3rd party app that comes with a media player.
3. It has no file manage where you can see all your files and arrange them how you want.
4. The keyboard is too small and makes typing very difficult me.
5. The blackberry has a better battery life than any Iphone.
6. The multi-tasking on an Iphone really sucks and cant be compared to BlackBerry.
7. It lacks advance interactions and also lacks the hub, this are features that the isheep will be happy to have but we have it and only BlackBerry users knows about it...
Blackberry need to market their phones because our OS is the best, apart from the limited app gap and better specs.

Posted via CB10 and 5s battery sucks. Iphone up graded their battery life from iphone 6 and the plus. Even q5 battery life blown the iphone 5s battery away let alone Z30.John Villareal and MarsupilamiX like this.07-15-15 01:39 PMLike 2 - "it learns how you type" - That is a feature Blackberry copied to, from SwiftKey.
I'm pretty sure quick reply came to Andriod first. It was also in OS X years before making an appearance on iOS. And why does it matter if it was copied? Blackberry copies all the time, Google copies, Microsoft copies, apple copies. Doesn't matter, a good features get to more users. Each one is simply creating a better experience for its users.
And again, opinion, not fact, I hate the blackberry keyboard, you may feel differently. I don't really care if you do though. Use what you like.
"Havent tried a iPhone 6 or 6+ so I cant comment on its battery life" - Well I have, and they get much better battery life than the Z10, Z30 and even rivels the battery life of the passport.

- And I was bragging about it how? If they are going to include it in the native email app my point was that will kill that consistent argument that comes up with the iPhone that the native email app can't attach anything but pictures.
Every single OS has issues and I never said that iOS didn't. That's not the title of this thread is it though. The original title was "The Z30 is better than every iPhone" and then listed details that were largely incorrect (based on not opinion but what the OP claimed as a fact) on why it was better than every iPhone ever created, when the OP was making that comparison to the iPhone 5C, to which I offered my opinion on.
RE: His points, nothing jumps out at me as being hugely incorrect. The battery is debatable I guess. I've heard from friends that the 6+ battery life is incredible (I own an iPhone 6), but I haven't tested one out for a week or so. I know the battery on my Passport beats my iPhone 6 based on my usage. No idea about the Z30, again, haven't used one for more than 5 minutes of playing around.
And for the point of multi-tasking that's debatable too, it's more what you're used to I think. I personally prefer active frames over iOS' implementation as I like being able to flip to a page where I can see everything I have running at a glance instead of having to flip sideways. It's much quicker on the Passport to switch between open apps imho. But I think it's only the Passport that allows you to see all 8 frames at once, and on the rest of BB's phones it's split over two pages.
I notice that OP called iPhone users iSheep as well, lol. But that's hardly something to get too worked up about. I've seen forum discussions on other sites where Android users and Apple users go at each other and it can get really vicious.07-15-15 03:06 PMLike 0 - I'm not here to dog the Blackberry phones because I had one for many years. - I used to own a Z10 and I currently own a Z30. I never saw why people like iOS...until I went and bought an iPhone 6 Plus (which I love).
There's been a ton of misinformation in this thread. I suggest a great many people actually use the iPhone before they knock it for the things it supposedly "can't do." After all, don't we all do the same when we feel that critics didn't give a BlackBerry 10 device a fair chance?

Just requires a few tools, an "oem" battery from a questionable seller on Amazon, a steady hand and an hour of your time to split your phone in half, swap in your spare battery and reassemble it.
Can almost be done while on the move.......lol.reeneebob likes this.07-17-15 12:44 PMLike 1 - The one "killer" feature that I think most iPhone users would love to see added, or get rid of 16GM minimum devices.
But that said music doesn't take up all that much space, and with iTunes and iCloud you don't have to have all 6,000 songs in you music library on your device.

I didn't care about files manager but that's just me. Actually, the same applies to real Android phones as well.
A non-rooted Android cannot deny specific permissions.
Which if we look at iOS and BB10, is in stark contrast to Android. Both OS allow you to deny specific permissions.
I still don't get why BlackBerry wouldn't allow end users to have control over permissions when they use Android apps, especially because it is BlackBerry's runtime, but that's another theme...
You say that the BlackBerry keyboard is better. "For sure."
Which means that it is a fact.
But then you say" to each his own".
Which means that it is an opinion.
So please clarify to let me get that straight:
Is it an opinion or a fact that the virtual BlackBerry keyboard is better?
What?
Every iPhone ever sold to end users had Bluetooth. Since the OG iPhone.
What you are talking about is Bluetooth file transfers from other devices and as far as I know the iPhone simply doesn't do that.
In the early years I suspected that this was to appease content creators selling media on iTunes.
Bluetooth file transfer played a pretty big role in the propagation of pirated files back in the day.
Nowadays I simply don't understand it anymore, as this is one of the most ridiculous limitations of an iPhone I have ever encountered (apart from Apple's iTunes fetish. God I hate that program, and yes, I have a Mac).
Especially because Androids and BlackBerries can do that. Heck even Symbian S60 could....
(At one point I wondered if it has to do with the user inaccessible file structure of iPhones.)
Either those guys must be 14, and don't have anything better to do, or they must be stupid, or they are trolls...
Because let's be honest, what's the point odlf cheering for a phone company, to the point where you insult other people who do not have the same preference as you do?
When did this became logical?
It also seems to be internet phenomenon, at least for me. I live in Switzerland which is a rather conservative country and I travel quite a bit as well....
But never have I been ridiculed because of my phone choice.
I also never found an Android/iOS user lurking on the streets to demand a "phone duel" and to see if his iPhone has a better browser than my BlackBerry. It simply never happened and the day it would happen to me, I'd wonder if I am in a surrealistic dream.Last edited by MarsupilamiX; 07-25-15 at 03:20 AM.
