I'd much rather BlackBerry took out these ads after 1) The release of cross-platform BBM and 2) The FairFax deal finalized, so the headline could be "BlackBerry: Our new future".

There are plenty more threads like this with articles preaching the same tunes. Also user posts on the forums. Several of them have been banned since.

I'm sure you can find through my search history that I said the some of the same things even though I hoped they would pull through. I was excited about BB10 for years. Now with all that is going on, that excitement has left the building.

I don't get the response:

In the past people hammer BlackBerry should really do some 'message controlling'.
Now they started doing it, and people whack it all the more.
Like, uh. What? Damned be done, damned not be done.

All the vested vendetta. At this rate, I can imagine a most unrealistic scenario, you do a scenario that mimics the French revolution, with guillotine and all, and people still won't be satisfied.
"They should have done this!"
