Anytime am chatting with other folks on either android or iphone, they always use emoticons and am stuck with nothing to use except "" which doesn't always express how one feels. We used to have all these smileys a click away but now we don't. I hope we see it in 10.2. Same thing as swiping down on your keyboard to show it

Exactly my point. People use all these smileys and we can't get some when we used to be popular with that. Some even come up as [x][x] on twitter and you don't even know what smiley the other party used.

The BB10 ones only show up in their cartoon form to other BB10 devices.

On the the legacy ones, there were ones like ☺☹♞♧♡♥☃☆☂☁☀ and they showed up on other devices when you sent them in texts, and they were visible on Twitter too. Those are the ones I want back, because they were visible in the keyboard when you'd press Sym.

EDIT: I typed this comment on my Mac Book Pro, but the symbols aren't visible on the CB10 app, it's just random letters with accent marks

Whenever I send those emoticons, I always get asked "why are you sending me box symbols".
