    does the magnet on the waist holsters damage the blackberry or the screen since there are some metallic components within the blackberry?? the screeen is rite against the magnet

    It actually locks the phone, depending on your settings when you holster it. Why would they make a holster that would damage the phone?

    the magnet attracts the metal components inside the phone or the pixels in the screen... try putting a magnet against a computer screen

    The answer to your original question is No.

    There are millions of BB out there and millions of cases
    with magnets, and those magnets have not damaged
    screens. As to your test, that only works with a CRT, which
    the BB does not have.

    Um...dude I'm guessing you have your phone in backwards. Put the back of your phone against the magnet side...
