It's a legit site. Expansys is one of the largest smartphone retailers.

Yeah. Expansys USA sold the z3 to me 2 weeks before it was originally released. Usually what they do is somehow get their hands on some international variant of the most popular handsets a few weeks before they are released and sell them at a markup with 2 day shipping.

The specs say Snapdragon 808, 3 GB of RAM, and 18 MP camera. Anyone know much about the Snapdragon 808?

I don't know why the original link doesn't work. The page is still up and running. This link should work.

A little weird. You can preorder a phone with no idea what its specs or pricing are, let alone what operating system its going to be running?

If your outside the US it may be redirecting you to UK site, change location to US at the top, and select BlackBerry logo, you will see the listing, it's still there

According to the picture, and not that it is 100% accurate, it a shows the "Hangouts" icon. If Hangouts is on there, goodbye security.

Hangouts doesn't have to be your default messenger.

As an app yes, but you don't have to activate it, you have a native sms client on Android.

So what is BlackBerry doing different to secure Android? This is what needs to be discussed.

I doubt we can get this expertise in here, when Google with all its resources has failed to do it until this very moment.

Hangouts is set to run by default whether you use it or not. If you disable it, at least in Lollipop, you'll get an annoying message throughout the day that "Hangouts has been stopped", or something like that. And there's no way around it. So you either put up with the message or let it run. Ugh!
