Hi everyone,

I'm at the point where I am looking at upgrading to a smartphone, and one of the questions I had with respect to Blackberry's is this:

I purchased myself a car (Chevy Cobalt) not long ago and it has an in-dash USB port for connecting devices to. My current .mp3 player does not work on the port because it cannot play songs while charging. Rather than purchase myself a new .mp3 player and smartphone, I figured a new phone would be able to do both jobs for me. Is the music player on BB6 (more specifically the Torch) well suited for this type of application, or would an iPhone 4 (which would be my other smartphone of choice) be better suited to this kind of use?

I am looking for a phone that has an easy to use media player that I can scroll through songs easily and without much concentration. I also want to make sure whatever phone I do get will have the functionality of connecting to my vehicle.
