According to N4BB and SeekingAlpha, Blackberry Mobile Internet traffic has tripled in the last three months and is at 4% share of internet mobile traffic in the US. If you play around with the stats in StatsCounter.com as SeekingAlpha.com has done, you will find the same results.

Wait was it that it increased 4% from where it was? I thought it said it was 4% of the overall mobile Internet traffic. :s I could be wrong

In this age of instantaneous news (to drive eyeballs) and instant corporate results (to drive stock returns) - no one seems to be willing to wait for anything good anymore. Blackberry is making steady progress. It is an excellent product. I hope that patience for the user base does not wear too thin.

You are correct. My original post has been corrected. I was too hasty in my excitement of this news.

Statcounter threads should have a warning label on them. Or at least a different icon...maybe this:

That is because I have successfully persuaded several of my friends to purchased Z10 recently. Haha.

It's because bb10 takes so much more data to work due to lack of compression

StatCounter doesn't measure overall size of traffic, but rather unique page visits. You can find this info on their main website, which provides commercial analysis. The all wrong data associated with GS were taken from single day report which is very imprecise, also geographic distribution based on geo IP is imprecise. Instead you should look on North America (or worldwide), for weeks/months which already finished.

Show this to Google, quick! Maybe this will cause a change of heart in making Google native apps for BB10! Haha
