    My friend unlock his Blackberry and added his carrier by inserting the sim card. His carrier is t-mobile, the unlock Bold is from Verizon.the problem is that he cannot get his email or even his facebook does not work, he has wifi but it seems he can surf the internet, but no email,facebook or Yahoo messager....

    T-Mobile does not sell the 9650, so your friend will need to manually install the proper service books. This thread refers to the Storm, but it will also work for the 9650.

    Does your friend have a Blackberry data plan???

    If yes, then try restoring some T-Mobile BB Service books on the new bold
