I dropped my phone yesterday and scratched it really bad and its not even a week old.. My question is how can I get a new phone when I dont have insurance or anything I want a new one because its bugging the crap out of me.. I have the Storm9530 and im with Verizon any help would be appriciated..

If its a week old i believe you can call verizon and add insurance still. you have only like 15 days after purchase or something to add insurance but dont quote me on that. Then you can file a claim online and pay the deductible and they should ship you a new one. Thats what i would do.

I definitely need a case too. Because mine has fell out my hand so many times, and I've been blessed with quick reflexes and have caught it before it hits the ground. But one day I might not be so lucky.

Depending on the insurance it shouldn't be to much. I would guess around $40 - 50

Well I just added insurance for my phone and spoke to the women on the phone and said after 30 days ill get a refurbished one but im only a week into it so does anyone know on the verizon site how I can ask for a new phone?

You most likely won't get a new one.

Most insurance is refurb only and you will need to send the old one back once you receive the new one.

And pay the deductible. Last I heard the deductible was either $100 or $125.

the lady on the phone said if its lost or stolen I can get a brand new one only if its within the 30 days of purchase.
