    I have a user that deleted about 50 messages and left 4. His Blackberry now shows he has 16 messages but he only has 4. We have a BES server that is up to date with all SP's.

    Everytime this happens to me it is because I have BBMessenger items unopened.

    Try Hitting the menu key and check "Show All" Now find your Saved & Sent folder and see if it adds up.
