Which Blackberry Should I Buy
Hi y'all. I wanna buy a new Blackberry and it's gonna be my first Blackberry phone. So i'm a high school freshman student and i want a touch screen phone. I want to watch movies / series, listen to music, play game and texting. I'm undecided between 3 models. And these models are BB Curve 9380, BB Torch 9860 and BB Torch 9000.. BB Torch 9860's price is 495 USD, BB Torch 9000's price is 660 USD and BB Curve 9380 is 418 USD. Tbh, i don't know which model is best for me. Which one ? Or another BB model for me ? Any suggestion ? Thx

For what you're saying you want it for, I'd recommend the 9860. That model is basically made for your needs.

I personally think that the Torch 9860 will suits you the best. However you might want to consider the 9900, since BlackBerry is well-known for their great keyboard. But if you are a touchscreen person, then go for the Torch 9860

See that's why I love my Torch 9810. Full touchscreen and slide out keyboard

I would recommend the Torch 9860. I think it has the right screen size for what you are wanting to use it for. Games, videos, apps.. If you are not to concerned about a keyboard, then that's the phone for you! But even the virtual keyboard works pretty nice on that!
I personally use a Bold 9930 which is awesome! It has a decent size screen and the keyboard and touchscreen combo just makes everything so functional, quick and fast! The keyboard is by far the best out there! I like being accurate and getting some feedback when I'm using my phone. But if you arent concerned about that, then go with the Torch 9860! - 09-02-2012, 06:39 AM #11
Go all out for the best Torch or Bold you can find...you would be less likely to regret your purchase a few months later...and you will reap the benefits in the day-to-day things you do on your phone like BBM, Email and texting. I can speak from experience that I had many problems with my Curve 9320 now...crashing, processor slowdowns and all that.
So, go for the best Bold or Torch and never look back, thank Uncle Speedy on the way back. - 09-02-2012, 09:54 AM #12

I agree. If the OP wants to be able to play games, regardless of the BB he gets, he will be disappointed as there simply are no games of the quality or calibre that are available on iOS or Android. I'd also recommend iphone or SGS3.

Get an iPhone or wait for BB10.

If you want a media centric phone stick with either iOS or Android. The newer BBs are good, but just don't have the same support for games and multimedia like the competition. It's your choice either way good luck.
