TH had stated he was exploring "strategic options" last summer. I'm sure all this was on the table to be acted upon should BB10 not fare well which it hasn't.

The local press (Waterloo Region Record) has been less than generous calling the latest plans the death knell of the company. It does make sense since private equity groups seek to maximize returns and to protect their investments, which means selling off bits and pieces to realize shareholder equity in cash. Don't expect new products or any innovation under this scenario.

Its such a shame. I really wanted the company to succeed and to some extent the product is very good but all we got was the same old poor execution and marketing under the supposedly better managed company.
