Isn't there an 8980 too, or was that name changed to 8910?

What was the game plan with the Tour? Limited Edition? Why was it killed so suddenly? Was that the plan all along or did something go wrong?

I'm not sure if it was planned to be limited or not. I know some had trackball issues and upgraded to the 9650. I think VZW was offering the 9650's on a warranty exchange or something like that.

I guess things happen for a reason though. My buddy has a 9650 and its been very good to him.

As i know, Blackberry Tour don't seem to have any problems.
Blackberry Bold 9000 has the most

    Bold 9000 Technical issues:

On October 10, 2008, UK provider Orange suspended sales of the BlackBerry Bold due to undisclosed software issues.

March 2, 2008, RIM says they had or still have an overheating problem with the Bold saying in some cases it became too hot to handle. This problem seems to have affected regions in and around Japan only. BlackBerry Bold devices in other countries are unaffected by this matter.

The Bold, the second 3G BlackBerry (first supporting US frequency bands), launched in the U.S. in November 2008, after several snags delayed its release. The Bold went through several revisions before its official launch to ensure it operated properly on AT&T's 3G network and to hammer out software issues.

Unlike many competing smartphones, hardware issues prevent any kind of audio/music composition or editing applications from running successfully on the Bold.

Good read Tecklop. I was unaware of those issues.

    Whoa, That's alot...

Some blackberry mobile products have problems, none of them is 100% Perfect.
The Strange thing is older monochrome screen mobiles don't really have any problems or no problems at all.
