Blackberry Playbook Android player just got copied on PC and MAC
It is called BlueStacks and Android is just flying on my PC.
Run Mobile Apps on Windows PC or Mac with BlueStacks | Android App Player
Insane technology. Android apps are just flying on my pc. They look bad on 21" monitor but 13" must look so much better. Compatible with windows 8 meaning all touch. Now I am tempted to get Windows 8 Tablet. Surface with this app is just crazy. google must be very "happy" about popularity of Android.Last edited by bitek; 12-27-2012 at 07:05 PM.

Re: Blackberry Playbook Android player just got copied on PC and MAC
It did not get copied from the Playbook. This tech has been around before the PB had the Android player.

Plus the PlayBook native Android player doesn't provide full access to Google Play. However, I noticed you edited your post and removed that statement. Does this not allow access to Play either?

It's a bit clunky. It's basically dumping the Android environment in a container on Windows.

Just like how there used to be VisualBoyAdvanced emulator for Gameboy games, etc. And the SNES Emulator, and N64 Emulator, etc etc etc. It's just an emulator for Android Apps.
