We all love our BlackBerry's, and love to receive/read messages of all types...

What I want to know is two things:

    1. Do you have BlackBerry Pin Messenger (BPM) set to show messages in the Messages list?

    2. Do you preview messages there, BEFORE you read them in BPM?

    1. I have mine set to messages folder.
    2. I don't preview them there. I normally just go to BBM and check the message. Now if I don't want them to know I've checked it I have a little trick for that too.

With the new 5.0 OS I automatically can see the message in my message list. This wasn't the case with 4.6 OS. I actually really like this new feature.

I never read PIN messages. I delete them as a matter of course.
Anyone not smart enough to use BBM is not someone I want to talk to.

I usually just open BBM and see who is the message from. But lately since I updated to .206 OS, after entering my password to unlock my phone it automatically opens the convo, what's the deal with that?

A regular PIN message I'll read. But I've probably read about 5 PIN messages from people that I actually know who are on my BBM because there was a good reason to send it in that format.

I don't list my BBM messages in my messages folder though.

Do you take it out of a holster? If so, you need to give it about 12-15 seconds or so, so that it doesn't open automatically. This goes for any type of message.

As a matter of fact I just started using a holster! Will give it a try by waiting 15 seconds. Thanks!
