I've not tried this, and am not sure of the benefits. But, has anyone tried to add a users email address using the BlackBerry Pin Messenger? What's the benfit of this over adding the users BlackBerry Pin number?

Now, if adding the email address the user is still available 24/7, that would be great, why use the Pin number? Especially for someone like me that likes to swap BlackBerry's all the time...

    Anyway, waiting for answers...

I think the benefit of using an email address would be for users like you who switch devices. If all your contacts were to request you via email for BB Messeger, then it wouldn't matter when you switched devices since that email would follow you. You wouldn't have to keep updating us with PIN numbers.

**This only works with your blackberry.net email address.**
