I have the blackberry pearl have had it since it came out. I love it and never had a desire to change. I now am interested in the G1 can anyone give me any insight?

I really depends on what you are looking for in a phone.

The G1 has 3G, a 3MP camera (but no video capture or zoom),
capacitive touchscreen and qwerty k/board, accelerometer (auto
rotates the screen between landscape and portrait). Has both
Wi-Fi and GPS

The headphone jack is mini USB, so you'll need an adapter or
a different set of headphones. It also does not support stereo
bluetooth.
