Is paypal itself truly a secure payment service ? ... last time I check theiir website does not even offer two-factor authentication to login.

The only thing that stands out with BlackBerry is being able to send Paypal payments through BBM.

Other than that, Paypal is same on all mobile platforms.

Fortunately, Paypal's mobile site is pretty good that you do not need an app for it.

As for mobile payment in general, I believe BlackBerry was one of the first to do so. Contactless NFC payments were offered even back in the BlackBerry OS days with 9900. My bank (CIBC) also offers NFC payment option for BlackBerry 10 phones as well. I plan on trying it out once I make a credit card here

I will sign up a PayPal account once BBM PayPal integration happens here in my country.

I think it is a cash cow for #BBM & #BlackBerry. I think it BlackBerry is better off using this to increase their revenue than using their current means & I'm sure they can earn more money than what they are currently earning by using #PayPal or #BBMmoney

2FA has nothing to do with the security of their payment service, especially since there are plenty of instances of poorly implemented 2FA, TLS/SSL and every other type of security protocol that can be found.
