I wouldn't mainly because it doesn't have flash but whenever I play with my brother's iPad, the amount of apps in the App Store makes you want to get one, also an iPhone (happened to me this morning when I was playing with my co-worker's 4s).

Biggest ripoff and shows you what really good marketing does. If you have an ipod you already have an iphone and an ipad. One is just a bigger version of the latter all running the same exact OS. My sister in laws ipad, iphone and ipod all look identical style wise and OS wise. Only difference is screen size and one has a phone app.

You have to hand it to apple though. Their marketing makes a giant ball of Sh*t shiny and makes people want to buy it.

You know in all honestly, when I first heard ipad I thought it was a woman's feminine hygiene product.

I have a G2 Ipod Touch and my wife has a Ipad2. It is nice, for her but I don't like the size. She has a purse and it fits within it. I like to tease guys who carry a murse. I also really dislike the web browser and that comes bases on 3 years of use on the Touch.

To me the playbook is the perfect size and I really like the browser. I have to admin that sometimes when viewing all the apps I feel a bit like "Dame RIM Come-on". but I know those will come with time. If I did not have a playbook by second option would be a 7" android tablet.

After reviewing the SquareTrade Warranties | Extended Warranties for 70% Less Than Retail | Electronics Insurance Alternative videos on waist high drop tests done on various tablets, the Playbook needed to be dropped several times face down before there was any glass breakage, and it was moderate, at worst; one drop for the iPad and screen was 110% totaled. I need something that fits on my knee board, and if I crash and burn the Little Bird, atleast I know the PB will keep on kickin' after my heart stops tickin'.

I haven't found a need for a tablet of any kind. For the price of an ipad, I can get a real computer (a basic laptop) that can run AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, and any number of real programs that I use to make a living.

Even though I'd love to support BlackBerry, I don't have a real use for a PlayBook either.

That may change some day, though.

I voted yes. I have owned a 64gb playbook from the day it has came out and use it daily for my work. I bought my daughter a iPad2 because that is what they are using in several classes at school. My playbook will always be what i carry on my work trips(121 flights this year) because of the size and it does everything I need it to do for work but the iPad is just a lot of fun to play with and I actually believe every household should have one.

If I got a tab right now it would be an iPad over any other. Was thinking Kindle but I've used the iPad Gen1 and really liked it.

It would be nice to have the best of both worlds. So a BlackBerry phone and iPad would be a great combo!

I got one as a Gift. its catching dust right now as I use my playbook way more since its more portable and way easier to type, no need for me to carry the keyboard unlike with my ipad2 I need the keyboard. If I do break up with a certain person then is up for sale asap lol
ipad is just a bigger version of an ipod there's no innovation there.
