    Verified with Sachesi

    Country: 424 (UAE)
    Carrier: 02 (Etisalat)
    Software Release (SR):
    10.2.0.429
    Operational System (OS):
    10.2.0.1803

It's the latest official version of BB 10.2.0 OS.

I got it from Vodafone, Germany about a month ago and am very happy with it. It's better than previous official BB 10 OS versions, allowing for toast notifications, multiple alarms, black themes for some applications, and a better battery performance, among other improvements.

If you haven't done so yet, I strongly advice you to install it on your device. It will take a good couple of hours (maybe a lot less) to download and install, and then, for some 48 hours, your device is going to get a little crazy (just a little) while everything inside gets updated, which most probably will include some battery drain, but after that, it will be all good.

Be sure to have your battery fully charged prior to downloading and installing, which I find better doing by sideloading from either BlackBerry Link or Sachesi. Also, back up everything before installing the OS. I've also read in the forums that taking the SIM card out prior to installing would be a good idea. I have not done so when I updated, and nothing bad happened.

Once the new OS has been installed and updated (give it 24 to 48 hours to sink-in), only restore backed-up data (apps, files, settings) if those won't work on your device, which would be a rare thing to happen . If everything goes well in general terms, don't restore anything.

For specific issues that may occur, please read the threads in the BB10 Hub / Leaks sections of the CrackBerry Forums.

From about 8:30am to 11pm, I went through three batteries in my Z10. I only check my hub, Facebook, and Crackberry. Is there anything I'm missing, because up until recently, I never went through so many batteries in one day. I'm using 10.2.0.429. Could my batteries have a memory in them now, because I never completely exhausted them before a charge? I hear these types of batteries do not hold a memory, self discharge, etc.

Also, the green light on the Z10's battery charger bundle is solid green when I grab a new one.

    Only started today.

    Apps I use :

CBC News, Gordon Edwards Police Scanner free, Nobel Radio, The Weather Network, Gas Buddy, Bemaps Pro, Bloomberg, Parrot, Crackberry, Canada Post, CBC news, CBC radio, eBay, Flashlight Free, Reebie.

I never ever went through so many batteries, except up until starting today.......WOW!
