I know a lot of people repair and modify their blackberry's housing themselves. I have a bold 9000 that I'm about to start replacing pieces on (bezel, trackball...) But I was wondering, is it harmful to open your housing too much?

Can you potentially damage (not by slipping up and making a mistake while inside of it) the phone by taking it apart too many times? Do the screws wear out easily?

I would worry about over tightening the screws more than anything. Over tightening will cause the screws to snap. But the Bold 9000 is so easy to take apart and put back together it's unreal! So too much taking it apart etc really shouldn't have any harmful affects as long as you're careful.
