Okay, here's the deal, I got my blackberry a month ago, and love it. But I have a question, and have not been able to find an answer to this on the internet, so I come here for answers.

I have AT&T and I am on a family plan with my bf, and we have the unlimited family messaging plan on both lines, and on my line I have the unlimited blackberry personal data plan. My question is this, I have not yet tried the blackberry messenger yet, and I was wondering, do I have to get another separate plan for that, or do my unlimited messaging and/or unlimited days cover it?

Sorry If I confused anybody, but I just wanted to know, and didn't want to call customer service, and get them trying to overcharge me for crap I don't actually need.

And, is blackberry messenger the only way to send 'pin' messages?

    NO and YES!

BB Messenger is simply a BB to BB messaging program and there is no extra charge for that.

Your PIN is your identifier for BB Messenger and if you want to allow someone to access you through BB Messenger you have to provide them your PIN.

Yes, as long as you have unlimited data BBM will not cost you
extra. To send PIN messages you can use BBM or direct PIN to
PIN, but the person must also have a BlackBerry with a data plan

You can open Desktop Manager and reload it through Application Loader

If you have Desktop Manager software on your computer all you need to do is plug your berry in and go to Desktop Manager>Application Loader>Make sure BBM is checked...viola you will have it back! Also, here's a link on BBM...

A Moderator may have change it to help make it more instructive and easier
for someone with the same issue using the search function to find it.
