    Default Blackberry Messenger

I just started using Blackberry Messenger and was wondering what the little R and D mean above the check marks where my name is while in a chat.

    Thanks!

The D means your message was delivered to your contacts device.
The R means your message was read by your contact.

I don't think they will with BB Messenger, but I know they do this for texts and emails, so if it's true, most likely they'd be doing away with it in texts and emails.

    Just a side-note:

On some themes instead of "R" you get "A" (Acknowledged) which is the same meaning in BBM terms of "Read"
