    I was trying to download Blackberry Messenger of mobile.blackberry.com. It said my device was unsupported. I have an 8830 running the newest OS. Is there a workaround? I don't have access to a Windows Computer. By the way, I deleted Blackberry Messenger, but now I need it now.

    The only thing I can think of is if you open the bb browser, hit menu, options, browser configuration, emulation mode - make sure it's set to blackberry. sometimes it won't recognize your BB properly if set to something else.

    BB Messenger can't be installed OTA, it can only be installed through App Loader in Desktop Manager.
