Many threads on these forums about marketing so I wanted to share what I am seeing in Houston this weekend.
BlackBerry has been running non stop radio ads about the BlackBerry Bold. The main crux of the ad is that the BB Bold browser is faster then other 'trendy phones'. They even refer you to BlackBerry - Yes BlackBerry - Upgrade to the New BlackBerry Smartphone - US. Not sure how effective the campaign has been but it's good to see them getting the brand out there and into people's minds.
Bonus! Some marketing is better than NONE at all...hopefully it will new users to BB and the old ones who say, "hey, I used to have a Blackberry, let's see what they're up to" ...
