BBMaps is part of the phone OS. You can't download and install it separately. (The file on the BB site is for an older OS). Download the OS that's used on your phone to your computer. Double-click the exe you downloaded. That will install your device OS as an app on your PC. Now you can use the DM App Loader to install BBMaps.

Depends on your carrier. Google maps won't work with Verizon.

I'm sorry, but your question is off-topic in this thread. It's also been addressed extensively in other posts. Read those and if you can't find what you need, create a new thread.

You have to have BIS or BES but other than that BBMaps is free. I prefer my Tom Tom because it has me traveling weird but use it at times.

You can install BBMaps on an AT&T device, but BBMaps won't run on AT&T after OS4.3 without a workaround. AT&T prefers you to use their Nav app.

Here is a link to a solution that appears to work: http://forums.crackberry.com/f52/fin...maps-t-117957/

    And another link: http://forums.crackberry.com/f52/how...b-maps-118076/

I am sorry, but I actually think this is funny. In all the Verizon/"we need a class action lawsuit" bs threads AT&T being able to use them is one of the reasons why a suit needs to happen.

Do you have a data plan? A data plan is necessary for BBMaps to be able to download maps.
