Thanks for the input everyone and from all the posts it looks like we made the right decision to push ahead with it.
When we make a decision to go ahead with a new mag we get it out there as soon as possible so next step is to get a core group of people together to provide the tech colums, reviews etc.
If you think you have what it takes then please drop me an email or PM . I have decided that launch issue will start off as we mean to finish, 80 pages plus covers, perfect bound, glossy cover, 250gsm stock for cover and 100gsm stock for inside pages.
We will have both a printed version and a digital version available.
I do not think I would have any need to subscribe. I get all the information I could possibly need to know from CB already! Plus I do not have any money to spare for a subscription at the moment.

No for a few reasons. I don't subscribe unless a digital version is offered as a subscription like Ziff Davis does. Also I think the world of BlackBerry doesn't really have enough going on inside of it to become a monthly magazine.
Not sure where you came up with the idea that the magazine was going to be a monthly, as I never said it would be.
At this stage we are looking at either quarterly or bi-monthly and in at least two posts I have mentioned that there WILL be both print and digital editions.
OMG where do I sign up? I would pay for 3 subscriptions up front just to make sure I have backups by mail in case the first one gets lost/damaged. I wondered too why there was no blackberry magazine. I could read it while i/m in transit, cooking, etc instead of risking damage to the berry.
I would be very interested in a BB magazine! I"m a professional photographer from Texas and would like to know if you would need any help for the launch of your publication? I would be glad to send a resume etc.
best,
Jerry
P.S. As for a name for the magazine I would suggest: In Motion Magazine A Magazine for blackberry users worldwide
