When I use my PC that is connected to a wireless routher to purchase something online or type in a username and password, I have at least some comfort in the knowledge that my wireless transmissions are encrypted with WPA. How is this handled with a Blackberry connection to the internet? I've searched and perhaps it is because I can't see the forest for the trees, but I have not been able to find a thread that describes how the Blackberry handles security. I would love to be referred to a document or page that described all aspects of Blackberry security, especially as it relates to non-enterprise usage.

    Yes to HTTPS support.

Note the lock/unlock icon in the Brower status bar.

So that's why I was missing this... I run the browser with the status bar turned off to get a bit more screen real estate...
