    Hello Guys
I'm new to this forum so I hope I posted it in the right place.

    I have a Blackberry curve 8520.
For the past year I've been using Blackberry Internet Service, but since it costs 49$ a month (I live in Dubai) I could not afford it anymore + it was getting pointless.

My question is : Is there another way I can access internet?
I am ALWAYS at home, but I don't have a Wifi connection, I use cable(wlan).
Can I connect my BB through my Laptop to use the internet?
I mostly want it for the BBM.

    Any advice pleasee !!

    Thanks

EDIT: I do have wifi now.

I have connected my Blackberry but it doesnt seem to work.
How can I make it work, or make BBM work.
    Thank you very much!!!

Without a BIS plan or WiFi access your BlackBerry cannot access the internet. No way around it.

For this question, you can use your BlackBerry to access the internet on your laptop (it's called tethering) but not the other way around.

You can't without an active BlackBerry Data Plan.

No, to get BlackBerry services you must have a BlackBerry Data plan.
