I have 2 computers. One runs Windows-10, the other runs Linux (PCLinuxOS).

In my Linux there is an app called kde-connect. On your Android-OS mobile you can install a app called kde-connect. Once you do, it let's you share almost anything through wifi.

You can be watching a video or listening to music in Linux. When you get a phone call, or initiate one, the media stops until the call is finished... then resumes your media file.

There isn't a program in Windows that comes near to kde-connect. There is a pic... Blackberry inside Linux-screenshot_20170628_195558.jpg

Can you access everything from your Linux pc via the phone, as well? Linux & Blackberry haven't worked well together in my experience. That capability would intrigue me more so than accessing media from my phone via the pc. Most of my media originated from my pc to begin with.

And a little background music during a phone conversation won't spoil the day.

This is not quite the same as KDE, but I have been transferring files (any type) between my encrypted Passport, z30 and playbook wo and from my Linux laptops since 2012.
Nothing that new, other than I cannot listen to music...but I can transfer music files.
I can't do it with Blend to my Mac if my Passport is encrypted, but I can do it in Linux.

It wasn't specified that a BlackBerry Android was being used in the post but was in the title. I was under the impression it was a BlackBerry software thing.

Yes, I should have supplied a bit more information.

IMy mobile is a Blackberry Dtek50. The is wireless, not with a usb cable.

Prem WatsApp is correct. Since the Priv and newer, Blackberry uses The Android-OS. When Google wrote the Android Os, they used Linux as it's base.

And yes to can access the computer from the mobile too.

    Here's a look at the app... https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...nnect_tp&hl=en
