    I just received a notification that there is an update for BlackBerry ID. Does anyone know what it is updating? I do know what BlackBerry ID is I just don't know what the update is doing.

    I'm guessing its got something to do with any BBID related services. I got an upgrade notice a few weeks ago when I tried to use app world.

    Same here. It got more interesting when I downgraded my OS yesterday. Got Appworld 4.0.0.55 from rroyy, which told me I needed to update Blackberry ID as I was installing. I did. And rebooted after that process. Later, when I went to use Appworld, I was told again that I needed to update my Blackberry ID. So, I'm not sure if there were Sandy related network issues that prevented the original update attempt or if there's yet a newer version. But I never saw any failure notice on the first try.

    I got that update too. It asked me to restart my phone, came on CB to see if anyone knew what it was all about.
