In the picture yes but on his channel he did say a lot of apps have been integrated.

You can be sure BlackBerry is gonna make it as good as bb10 or close or else it will not be a BlackBerry Hub.

That doesn't really prove anything. It's just a list of emails on a phone. It doesn't necessarily mean it's a picture of the Hub.

OP, relax!!! I am not sure why Dylan Habkirk's opinion should be taken as gospel. After all, this was the same dude who proclaimed that the Passport and Classic keyboards would not have the same double typing issues as their predecessor, the Q10.

For what it's worth.. I've never had the double type issue and I've had a Passport since October last year.

You guys don't have to believe him. I do. And if I can get my BlackBerry apps i.e. bbm and BlackBerry experience on an OS that gives me the added benefit of access to the apps I want without workarounds i.e. Android.. then I'm all in.

    You do you.

I really wonder if we could delete BBM on BB10... how much better our battery life would be. Don't have to wonder on Android and iOS.....

Hard to imagine that BlackBerry Experience is going to give us the real integration that the HUB provided... it will be interesting to see what they finally do release...

They still do, OS update did not fix anything. Well, for me at least.

Dylan Habkirk seems to know everything, and yeah, even a broken clock is right twice a day, so i'll just take this with the usual pinch of salt.

No idea what you're on about. My wife uses BBM on an iPhone 5 and it works perfectly. Never has issues. Of course it experienced problems when first released but I can assure you its a lot better now.

I just want to see if they can really pull it off. You can't *not* be a bit interested in seeing how this plays out, and call yourself a tech aficionado.

Especially since BlackBerry's Android apps haven't been uhhh, great to date. Raises the question, can they build a really great Android app? BBM was 'rough' out the gates and their only other experience comes by way of Enterprise apps which don't really require a lot of beautification.

No. I have zero faith in any blackberry apps built on other platforms, and even in the blackberry platform.

I also have zero faith in a blackberry android. It will be slow, laggy. A lot of the features won't make sense, or run badly. And it will probably be forked, meaning no Google play still and users still complaining.

    So, no. No faith.

Yup,.. and BBM was one IM app, which they controlled entirely. The Hub is an integration of supposedly multiple accounts/feeds. It will be nothing short of a miracle if they not only (1) not repeat the BBM blunders, but (2) don't repeat the BBM blunders with a more complex environment and thus the possibility of much epic failure (like: The BlackBerry Hub app deleted all my Gmail!)

Most likely it'll be less fun shortfalls to watch,.. something like: 'kills battery life' or 'doesn't show notifications properly on the lock screen'.
